Viv reads your heart rate variability, resting heart rate and sleep from Apple Health, then tells you in plain words how much you've got in the tank today, and why. It all happens on your iPhone. There's no account to make and nothing to set up beyond letting it read Health. Premium adds the history behind each signal, your training load and longer trends.
Energy works from your iPhone's data. Recovery needs heart rate variability and sleep from a compatible watch that shares them with Apple Health, such as Apple Watch. A watch gives the fullest picture. Energy can begin from day two; Recovery may take longer while it learns your HRV and sleep. Both get more personal over the first month.
