Our biggest update yet. 800+ questions The question bank has grown from just over 200 to more than 800, every one written from the RTA handbook. That includes dozens of new picture questions: junctions, roundabouts, overtaking and lane choice drawn as diagrams, plus more road-sign pictures. Know why you got it wrong Pick a wrong answer and you'll now see why that option is wrong, as well as the right answer and its handbook page. We also rewrote the answer options so the correct one no longer stands out, so the mock exam is closer to the real thing and a little harder. Handbook lessons Every topic now has lessons covering the key points of each handbook section in plain words, with the page they come from, plus flashcards and a "Test me on this" button. There's also a step-by-step guide to getting your licence. Spot the Hazard from the driver's seat The hazard drills are now seen from behind the wheel, so hazards hide behind parked cars and corners the way they do on the road. More languages DriveAce is now available in Bengali and Tamil. If you study in another language, you can switch any question to English with one tap. Also • Clearer road-sign drawings, checked against the handbook • The Unlock button now works even when the App Store is slow to respond • The mock exam timer keeps running if you leave the app, like the real test • You can now clear your test date in Settings Everything still works offline, and there is still no subscription.

Clearer mock exams for anyone just starting out. Know what you're starting The mock exam button now tells you how many questions and how long before you begin — no surprises once the timer starts. Your next step, right under your score The result screen now puts the most useful next step directly below your score, instead of at the bottom of the page. Everything still works offline, and there is still no subscription.

Two fixes to things that were quietly unfair. Your free mock exam is safe Submitting a mock with nothing answered no longer uses it up. And when you do submit for real, the confirmation now says plainly that this is the one free mock you're spending. Spot the Hazard explains itself Before your first drill there's a short card with the three rules you're scored on: watch the whole clip, tap once the moment a hazard starts to develop, and don't tap on reflex — guessing scores nothing. (The drills are practice, not a replica of the official RTA test format.) Everything still works offline, and there is still no subscription.

New: Today's plan. Open the app and the Home screen now tells you exactly what to do today — a short warm-up, the one topic that will lift your readiness most, a pass over your mistakes when they're piling up, and a mock exam only when it's time for one. The plan paces itself to your test date, and ticks off as you go. Also in this update: • A quicker start — three short steps and you're studying, with the free content spelled out up front • Fixes and polish throughout Everything still works offline, and there is still no subscription.

Road signs, properly. The signs library has been rebuilt: every sign in the RTA handbook, each with what it means and what a safe driver does about it — and now in all five app languages, not just English. Three new ways to learn them: • Flashcards — flip through a sign, decide if you knew it, and let the app bring back the ones you didn't • Signs Test — check yourself on one category at a time • A page for every sign, with the handbook reference it came from Also in this update: • More exam questions in the bank, at no extra cost — as always, every question we add later is included • Optional study reminders, so a few minutes a day is easy to keep up • Fixes and polish throughout Everything still works offline, and there is still no subscription.

New: Spot the Hazard — timed hazard-perception practice. A short scene plays. Tap the moment you spot a hazard developing, and you're scored on how early you reacted — then shown exactly what the cue was and what a safe driver does about it. Six original drills, fully offline. Three are free; the rest come with the one-time unlock. Also in this update: • A gentler start for new learners — begin with a quick five-question warm-up instead of spending your free mock exam straight away • Fixes and polish throughout Spot the Hazard is practice, not a copy of the official test format.
