Funhouse 4.0 is built for the big screen. On iPad and on the inner display of the new iPhone Duo, every game now takes the full height and moves its controls into a rail beside the board: the Sudoku number pad, the Mines flag, the Serpent pad, the Blocks tray and the Rebus letter bank. The hub fits five games across instead of two. New: an evening reminder for the Daily Five, on days you have not played it. There is a switch for it in Settings. Fixed: Pairs dealt letterboxed cards on a wide screen.

A small thank-you card now asks for a rating once, after a few real uses. Nothing else changes.

Every hand of pieces is now guaranteed to be playable, so a run never ends because the game dealt you something impossible. • Three Blocks boards to choose from: 6x6, 8x8 and 10x10, each keeping its own high score. • Blocks pieces can wear any of the emoji packs, and the board now fills the screen. • Dropping a piece is more forgiving: aim close and it lands where you meant. • Funhouse Pro is now a single one-time purchase. There is no subscription any more, so nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. • Everyone who already bought Pro keeps everything, permanently, including every game and tile pack added since. • Fixed a rare crash in Connect Four and Mines when the board changed mid-move. • Steadier drawing in Merge, Echo, Pairs and the Daily Five rounds.

Privacy housekeeping. • Our privacy policy and support pages moved to a domain we own, so they stay reachable. • You can open the privacy policy straight from Settings. • Updated privacy disclosures to meet the latest App Store requirements.

Funhouse Pro now comes as a yearly plan or a lifetime unlock. Bought Pro before? You keep every game and every skin forever, nothing to do. The Daily Five adds a Lock Screen Live Activity and a Control Center shortcut that jumps straight into today's run.

Every game got its controls rebuilt. • Swipes now register the moment you move, not when you lift your finger. Merge also remembers a swipe made mid-slide instead of dropping it. • Serpent: fast corners keep both turns, a bigger D-pad you can hold down, plus pause and a walls toggle. • Blocks: fixed a bug that could end your game on a move that had just cleared lines. Drag from anywhere in the tray, see invalid drops in red, and chain clears for combo points. • Four: a much stronger engine, slide to aim with a drop preview, and undo. • Chess: the engine searches around ten times faster, so Master finally plays at its full depth. Dragged pieces now sit above your finger instead of under it. • Sudoku: undo, at last, and honest digit counts. • Mines: flags drop while you hold, and work before your first dig. • Echo: progress dots and replays. Pairs: no more dead wait after a miss. Rebus: clear the whole answer in one tap.

Chess got the overhaul it needed. Pieces now slide across the board instead of jumping between squares, and you can drag them with your finger. The engine plays a much stronger game: it looks past its own last move, so it no longer snatches bait pawns and hands you a free piece. Promotion asks which piece you want instead of always forcing a queen, undo can no longer leave the board stuck, and repetition draws are called properly. Rebus is rebuilt from scratch. Every one of the 200 riddles is now exactly three emoji, and no clue gives its own answer away any more. If the answer is a volcano, you will not be looking at a volcano. Everything moves better. The snake glides between cells, Connect Four's opponent drops its disc the same way you do, Sudoku animates as you play, and letters fly into place in Rebus.

Funhouse 2.0 is a whole new app. What was one game is now ten. New games: Chess with a real engine, 200 emoji Rebus riddles, Sudoku up to Expert, Minesweeper, Pairs, Connect Four, Blocks, Echo and Serpent, plus the original Merge. The Rebus book is twice the size: 200 riddles across 20 chapters, and half of them are new three and four emoji puzzles. Also fixed a crash that could end a Rebus run early.
