Unsure what you've caught? We'll tell you. Snap a photo and let AI fish ID do the rest. Catch it, name it, brag about it, then get your mates voting in the comp. Snap a photo. Know what you caught, if you can keep it, and if it's worth eating. On The Fish is the fishing app built by anglers, for anglers. Record catches (photos, videos, and location), fish with your crew, enter competitions, and never guess a species again. AI FISH ID Point your camera at the catch. Get an instant species ID with confidence scores. No guessing, no googling. BAG LIMITS & EATING GUIDES See local bag limits and size rules based on your GPS. Our eating guide gives every species a chef hat rating (1–5), plus prep tips and any warnings. Know the rules before you keep it. LOG IT ALL Photos, video, gear, weather, and a map pin for every catch. Every spot. Every session. FISH WITH YOUR CREW Share catches with mates and see what your crew is pulling in. Create private groups for your club, family, or fishing crew and choose exactly who sees each catch. Keep it private, share with friends only, post it publicly, or share it with just one of your groups. Your spots, your stories, your call. COMPETITIONS Enter free competitions, win prizes, and vote for your favourites. No ads. No nonsense. Sign in with Apple or email. Delete your account any time from the app. WEB AND iOS On The Fish is free to try on the web at onthefish.app. Sign up, start logging, and upgrade to Pro any time for expanded storage and more AI IDs. The iOS app is free to download, with Pro available as an auto-renewing subscription. You get the full native experience: your camera always ready, fishing spots saved directly to Apple Maps so you can find them again, and everything working the way iOS should.
