Your region, your rules All 50 US states and Washington DC now have their own detecting rules, researched state by state: what your state parks allow, which act governs state land, and who issues a permit. If your state was not covered before, the app used to show you another state's rules without saying so. It no longer does that anywhere. Spain now lists all 52 provinces, and Norway's counties are up to date. You can change your state or region any time from Edit profile. Crashes and freezes Adding a photo from your gallery could close the app, on a find, a spot, a moment or a crew session. Large photos from a modern camera are handled properly now. Opening a very large saved area could also close the app, and the app could freeze for several seconds while working out the place name for where you are. LiDAR Relief kept disappearing when you stopped zooming, and a single missing tile was enough to cause it. Czech LiDAR showed a blank white sheet for some people. The strength slider now stays where you put it, and on iPhone it no longer shows a different strength from the one on screen. Crew sessions Crew sessions had been upgrade, new interface new features. You can now edit a crew session you host. Change the time, the place, the meeting point, the notes, who can see it, anything you set when you made it. Everyone going is told what changed, and can leave if the new plan does not suit them. Crew sessions now appear on the wall with the date on a split-flap board and who is going, and sharing one gives a link that opens the hunt straight in the app. Also fixed The regulations page for a big country is a dropdown now. Protected area counts are shown once for the country instead of repeated under every state. The map legend button is on every map. On iPhone the share button on a crew session needed several taps, and the distance scale was drawn across the LiDAR panel instead of behind it.

Fixed: - "Continue with Apple" did nothing on the sign-in screen. Signing in and creating an account with your Apple ID now work again. - You can now change a find's location after you've saved it, open the find, tap Edit, then "Adjust location on the map". - Edit, Share and Delete are now available directly on your finds in your profile. - Sharing an event is clearer, and a few smaller fixes to the map and club pages.

This is the biggest Rodek update yet. Events: rallies, digs and club meets near you, on the map and in a new Events page with a calendar. Tap a pin for the poster, the date and the place, and say you are going. Clubs: find or start a detecting club, with its own home page, news, gallery, members, events and chat. Owners post as the club and hear when someone asks to join. Pro cloud backup improved. Photos on the map: a photo taken on an outing leaves a pin where you took it, with a Memories tab on your profile and one tap to share it or keep it private. Hazard alerts: a hazard reported near you reaches you as a notification. Share your outing as a designed card, five layouts. Crew chat works offline: messages sent without signal are kept and delivered later. Plus hundreds of translation fixes across 30 languages and many stability fixes.

Community, chat and sharing come to iPhone. NEW • Redesigned Community feed: like, comment, react and share posts, edit your own, and see exactly who liked a post. • Sort the feed, hide pinned posts, and switch between your country and the wider community. Post right from the feed. • The Digital Museum is now social: like, comment, share and upvote finds, browse them in a carousel, and get notified the moment someone reacts to yours. • App Chat: a live group chat for the whole community, with channels, replies, links, and edit or delete for your own messages. • Marketplace: like and share listings. Sellers are notified the moment someone is interested. • People directory: search detectorists, filter by country, region or county, and add friends. • Chat attachments: send a photo, your location, a saved area or one of your finds in any conversation. • Find a detecting mate is now free for everyone and pairs you with the nearest available detectorist. • LiDAR relief in eight more countries: France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Croatia, Slovakia, Sweden and Japan, plus New South Wales, Victoria and the Northern Territory in Australia. Ground detail now streams across 25 countries. • Full detector catalogue: all 147 detectors with reviews, specs and search. • Refreshed Home screen with quick actions and a highlights carousel. • Share to Rodek: post a photo to your wall from any app's share sheet. • Free 3D terrain mode, plus extra premium map styles. IMPROVED • Notifications arrive on time, even when the app is closed. • Posting a saved area now shows it on a map instead of plain text. • Clearer Pro badges and polished Home screen layout. FIXED • A profile page that could slide sideways, and a few dead links.

Fixed a setup bug that blocked new users in some countries from finishing sign-up. Plus map improvements (LiDAR relief now covers Italy) and community updates. Thanks for the reports!
