Your scripts and voice processing stay on your device.

Prompto is now even more private. This update removes third-party crash reporting, so no app usage data is collected or transmitted. We’ve also included reliability and performance improvements for a smoother recording experience. Your scripts stay on your device—no account, no analytics, and no cloud required.

What’s New in Version 1.3 • Record videos directly from your saved scripts. • Free users now receive 3 video recordings each month. • Prompto Pro includes unlimited recordings, scripts, and recording time. • Added an easier way to rate Prompto. • General performance improvements and bug fixes.

Prompto’s camera just became much more capable: • Record with the front or rear camera • Rotate between portrait and landscape • Record in 4K with Prompto Pro on supported cameras • Import PDF, DOCX, TXT, and RTF scripts • See word count and estimated reading time • Tap to focus, lock exposure, and monitor microphone levels • Choose an external microphone when one is connected • Quickly discard and retake without saving a bad take • Customize text alignment, color, spacing, and margins

New in this version: • Voice scrolling — the teleprompter now follows your voice, hands-free. Just talk and the script keeps pace. • Pause with a tap and scroll the script by hand, even while recording. • Reading line moved up near the camera for better eye contact — with a slider to set it exactly where you want. • Starter script templates, including ready-to-film real estate scripts. • Share your recording straight to social the moment you finish. • Add your logo as a watermark on every recording. • Mirror your video, plus a heads-up before free takes reach the 60-second limit.
