The cleanup experience has been improved to make it easier and safer to remove hidden caches and leftover app files. - A more compact list of cleanup candidates lets you compare more items at a glance. - Your selections are preserved when searching or filtering. The selected item count and total size are shown at the bottom of the screen. - Scrolling in long lists and detail views has been improved. The cleanup confirmation screen now lets you review every selected item. - You can now reopen previous scan results and rescan the same locations. For added safety, a rescan is required before cleaning up items from previous results. - Scan cancellation and workflows across multiple windows have been improved. - Performance has been improved by reducing unnecessary repeated processing when searching, sorting, and calculating the total size of selected items. - The app has been updated for macOS 27. Starting with this version, an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 27 or later is required. - The “More Apps by the Developer” list has been updated, along with platform information, descriptions, and icons for projects in development.

Selecting cleanup candidates is now easier and more convenient. - Click anywhere on a card to select or deselect it—no need to aim for a small checkbox. - Hover and pressed states are now clearer. - A separate Info button keeps selection and details from getting mixed up. - Improved keyboard focus and Reduce Motion support. - A new Other Apps by the Developer section is available in the sidebar. Browse or search released apps by Mac, iPad, or iPhone in App Catalog, and see ongoing projects in the separate In Development tab.

Improved memory usage while scanning cleanup candidates. HopDisk now keeps less unnecessary scan information in memory when scanning folders with very large file counts or large disks. The Large Items view is also easier to use. Items marked as Safe Cleanup, including eligible tmp/temp temporary items, can now be moved to Trash directly from that view. Items that need review are not given this direct cleanup action. Older scan results are no longer shown as the current scan before you run a new scan. Saved scans remain available in History.

Developer cleanup has been improved for users who build apps with Xcode. Developer Data scans can now surface Xcode Archive artifacts more easily. Archives may still be needed for distribution or debugging, so they are not selected automatically. Review the scan results and move only the items you choose to Trash.
