Read Water: Fishing Journal
Read Water. Cast Smarter.
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Read the current with one gesture and log the outcome with one tap. Keep this observation; decide the next cast yourself.
Turn a stretch of water into a better next cast.
Read Water is not another fishing log form. On a full-screen water surface or imported photo, drag once to describe current direction, choose the first spot to test, then record a catch or no-catch with one tap. At the end, the water itself becomes a review of what worked, what remains untested, and what to try next.
Core experience
• Read the water: draw the current direction and pace directly on the surface
• Choose a trial spot: compare flow, shade, and structure
• Log the outcome: catch or no-catch in one tap
• Learn on the same water: preserve proven and untested spots for the next trip
• Adapt to different waters: river bends, ponds, open lakes, tidal estuaries, and coastal structure
• Share privately: preview exports and review location and photo-metadata boundaries
Optional Pro AI analysis expands the explanation only after explicit consent, using your current gesture, water scene, and catch outcome. AI offers probabilistic suggestions, never a catch guarantee or a substitute for on-water judgment.
Spot names, coordinates, catches, and photos are local-first. Core water reading, logging, and review remain available offline.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Introduces the Read Water brand with clearer fishing-focused store naming. Adds visible China app filing information and improves legal and review contact details. The core flow remains: drag to read current, log catch or no-catch with one tap, review the next cast, and optionally use probability-based Pro AI analysis.
