A floating shelf for whatever you're dragging: stash files, images, and text, keep your clipboard history, and grab it back out wherever you need it. Perch is a drag-and-drop shelf for your Mac. It gives whatever you're dragging a place to wait — so you never have to line up two windows side by side or lose your grip mid-drag again. Start dragging a file, image, or snippet of text and Perch slides in from the edge of your screen. Drop it there, go wherever you need to, then drag it back out. Simple. DRAG & DROP SHELF • Drag toward your chosen screen edge and the shelf appears. • Drop files, folders, images, text, and web links to stash them. • Drag them back out anywhere — copies by default, hold ⌘ to move (Finder-style). • Select one or many (⌘/⇧-click) and drag the whole selection at once. CLIPBOARD HISTORY • Everything you copy is quietly kept — the shelf never interrupts you. • Press ⌃⌥⌘C to open the clipboard panel; click an item to copy it again, or send it to the shelf. • Password-manager copies are ignored. History stays in memory and clears on quit. QUICK ACTIONS • Double-click to open; tap the eye for Quick Look. • Right-click an item for Open, Quick Look, Reveal in Finder, Copy, and Remove. WORKS WITH macOS • A tidy menu-bar app — no Dock clutter. • Share extension and Services: "Add to Perch" from any app. • Global shortcuts, reveal modes, left/right side, three sizes, pin, sounds, and Open at Login. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything stays on your Mac. No account, no tracking, nothing collected. SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE • Available in 12 languages, following your Mac automatically (right-to-left included). Requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later.
