Lafz is a daily ritual to learn and connect with Urdu. A few quiet minutes each day bring you a word, the story it carries, and the poetry and games that help it stay with you.
Lafz brings the word of the day to your phone, the way a good teacher would: slowly, and with a story. Whether you grew up hearing Urdu and want the words back, love ghazals and want to read them without a translation beside you, or simply want a quieter kind of learning, Lafz is for you. Most vocabulary apps hand you a list. Lafz gives you a ritual. Each day one word arrives, and you read it in four beats: the word, its meaning, the root it grew from, and a couplet or sentence that uses it. Four beats a day is enough.
