AudioGate adds the one thing macOS has always lacked: a volume slider and
output picker for every individual app, not just the whole system.
Why
You're on a call in Zoom and want music playing in the background — but
turning up Apple Music means turning up everything, including the call. You
want Discord on your headphones but YouTube on your desk speakers, at the
same time, without unplugging anything.
What it does
- Per-app volume sliders — turn any app up or down independently,
right from the menu bar
- Per-app output routing — send one app to your Bluetooth speaker,
another to your headphones, another to your Mac's built-in speakers,
all running simultaneously
- Mute, individually — silence one app's sound without touching
anything else
