Auto-calibration (improved) Every confirmed odometer check generates a full-quality calibration sample. Subsequent trips benefit immediately: the pre-fill for the next check is accurate to within 0.1 km in over 99.9 % of cases. Expanded trip diagnostics The precision diagnostic view now shows every distance layer: GPS filter → start reconstruction (underground garage) → end reconstruction → map-matching → calibration → odometer check. Any deviation is explainable in seconds. Underground garage? No longer a problem Movement before the first GPS fix (leaving a parking garage) and after the last fix (entering one) is reconstructed via dead reckoning or MKDirections, and appears as a separate layer in the diagnostic view. Silent A3 automation If a trip ends silently (Shortcuts, CarPlay, or background), it is marked as "Odometer check pending." The check can be completed later from the trip detail view — as long as the fiscal period is not yet sealed. Full addresses in PDF documents can now be read. The widget has a great function to initiate the record from GPS without having to open the app directly. A pause button has been added during GPS recording.

Bugs and Fixes Implemented. Odometer Calibration – Match Your Car's Speedometer Exactly Vehicle odometers can deviate from GPS measurements by ±1–2% due to tyre and manufacturer tolerances. For a legally compliant mileage log, your records need to match the physical odometer — not just the GPS signal. The new Odometer Calibration feature lets you fine-tune StreckenProfi to your specific vehicle: 1. Drive one or more reference routes and note the distance shown on your odometer. 2. Enter the car's reading and the app's reading in Settings. 3. StreckenProfi calculates a correction factor and applies it automatically to all future trips. Calibration is stored per vehicle — perfect for users managing multiple cars. Previously recorded trips remain unchanged to preserve your audit trail.

More reliable CarPlay detection The app now detects CarPlay connections even when it has been paused by the system in the background. As soon as a location update wakes the app, the CarPlay connection is detected immediately and the trip recording prompt appears — without needing to open the app first. New option: Fast CarPlay Detection A new "Fast CarPlay Detection" toggle is available under Settings → Automatic Capture. When enabled, the app stays active for up to 10 minutes after a location event and responds to a CarPlay connection almost instantly (1–2 seconds instead of several minutes). The option is off by default, as it may slightly increase battery usage. Other improvements Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
