Islet is a local-first private journal app.
It turns journaling into a chat-like experience: open the app, send a text note, photo, video, or voice message, and it becomes part of your daily journal. You can create
separate notebooks for travel, reading, everyday moments, food, or anything else, and revisit your memories by date in the calendar view.
Key features:
- Chat-style journaling
- Text, photo, video, and voice entries
- Multiple notebooks
- Calendar view for daily review
- No account required
- Data is stored locally by default
- Optional sync with your own S3 or WebDAV storage
- On-device encryption before syncing
Islet is designed for people who want a lightweight way to record life while keeping control of their private data.
