FORECAST ALERTS Evening Forecast Alert: a 7 PM notification when tomorrow's forecast includes high Wet Bulb temperatures. Unlock with WetBulb+. ALERTS THAT TRAVEL WITH YOU Travelling Widget and App Alerts: if you travel, heat alerts, the widget and your Apple Watch update to your current location, even while the app is closed. Unlock with WetBulb+. THE SAFETY LEVELS HAVE BEEN ADJUSTED The temperatures that set the five levels — 23, 26, 29, and 32°C (73, 79, 84, and 90°F) — and their names — Comfort, Mindful, Caution, Warning, and Critical — have been adjusted. Each level is based on a published heat-stress threshold used by occupational safety bodies, health ministries, and militaries; the 32°C / 90°F where Critical begins is the point at which outdoor training is suspended for young, fit military adults. Reference links are in the 'About Wet Bulb' sheet. ALERTS CUSTOMIZATION Alerts now arrive at Caution, Warning, and Critical. Because Caution is a common summer morning in many regions, Settings can switch off that first level and leave Warning and Critical on. WET BULB TEMPERATURE NOW LIVES IN THE CALCULATOR The Calc tab takes the current location's air pressure, sky conditions, and the sun's position from the current hour, to show a relevant Wet Bulb Temperature. It sits next to the Outdoor WBGT above it for comparison.

FOCUS ON WET BULB GLOBE (WBGT) The app now focuses on Wet Bulb Globe (WBGT), the outdoor reading. The reading, the day's timeline, and the six-day forecast all describe it. Regular Wet Bulb now lives in the Calculator, where its value can be seen side by side with WBGT. The 'About Wet Bulb' sheet explains how they differ. UPDATED MATH MODELS, FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE Temperature calculations now follow the method of the US National Weather Service: an iterative psychrometric solve for Wet Bulb, the Dimiceli and Piltz black globe model, and the weighting set out in the OSHA Technical Manual — with coefficients retuned by the US Army Range Commanders Council. Sources are cited. EXPLAINING HOW WBGT IS NOT THE SAME AS "FEELS LIKE" The 'About Wet Bulb' sheet now explains more about how Wet Bulb Globe differs from the Feels Like reading typically seen in weather reports — they are both temperatures but calculated using different factors, to convey different information. ALSO IN THIS VERSION • Medium Widget layout fixes. • Tweaks to app header and footer, and better scroll behavior. • Links to Rate the app, or share it with someone, in Settings. • The search screen opens with the keyboard when tapped.

APPLE WATCH APP WetBulb+ now puts the Alert Notifications and Days Timeline on your wrist: the current Wet Bulb Globe temperature, and the day's timeline highlighted hourly by safety level. A WIDER HOME SCREEN WIDGET A new medium widget shows the current level and reading with the sky, today's high and low, air temperature, humidity and the chance of rain — over the whole day's timeline. CHANCE OF RAIN, FOR EVERYONE The timeline now draws the chance of rain as a bar in each hour, and the reading lists it alongside air temperature and humidity — on the free tier as well as WetBulb+. OPENS ON WET BULB GLOBE App opens on the Wet Bulb Outdoor tab, which is the one that matters if you're working, training, or walking outside. ALSO IN THIS VERSION • The widget and watch keep the day's timeline through a day the app isn't opened. • FAQ & Support link added to Settings. • Clearer wording and layout on the WetBulb+ screen • Calc lists Solar Radiation before Wind Speed, and its labels no longer get cut off in other languages. • More of the app reads in your own language, including the About Wet Bulb screens.
