Rewards: every member now has an invite code. A friend who joins with it gets 30 days of Valmont, and as friends join you earn free months, badges and, in time, Valmont for life. Find it in the menu under Rewards. Your code is yours for good, and you can share it by message, link or in person.

Signing in on a new phone is smoother: if your account asks for a code, Valmont now shows the code step instead of stopping. At a restaurant, the Nod keeps its suggestions to that venue's wine list. Small fixes to wine-list uploads and membership prices.

Valmont now has a free way in. Decline membership and you can still ask the Nod, scan bottles, read wine lists and keep a cellar, with a monthly allowance you can always see. Scanning and the Nod are steadier: when something can't be done, Valmont now says why, instead of asking you to try again. Wine lists are read much faster, so long lists no longer time out.

A larger camera view makes it easier to frame a wine label or a full wine list. Add bottles straight from Collection: tap +, scan a label, confirm the wine and add it to your owned bottles. This update also refines onboarding, nominations, membership plans and larger-text layouts. Home and the Nod share a working composer, and Journal shows restaurant thumbnails alongside your visits.

The Cellar. Your wines now stand on shelves, grouped by colour: the bottles you own, the ones you have tasted, or both. Adding a bottle takes one tap. Search the catalogue by wine or by producer, put a year in the search to narrow it, then tap a result to add a bottle and tap again for another. Photograph a bottle and frame its label to see it standing on your own shelf, and turn it in 3D. Journal keeps every tasting: the evening, the place, and who was there.

Redeemed a code before you had an account? The app now says so on the first screen, with the date your membership runs to. The Nod no longer reports an outage when you leave mid-question, and tells a slow answer from a lost one. Smaller fixes under the hood.

The Nod takes photos properly: a panel that opens from the plus, a camera that stays open for the next page of a wine list, thumbnails that land in the composer. Nominations are a ledger. Five places, one line, rows you can share or take back. Places, the diary and the pour form now see the whole catalogue: every venue we hold a list for, every bottle by name. Native headers across settings, a faster search, and a long list of smaller fixes.

Scanning is more careful — a bottle is never presented as one we couldn't confirm. Motion, speed and steadiness retuned throughout.
