Four new characters to talk to — including Ling, a courier in neon-soaked Shanghai 2077, drawn in anime style. • Notebook — after every call, see what you said well and up to two phrases a native speaker would say differently. They collect into a notebook you can review and mark as learned. • Four new companions — Ling (cyberpunk courier), A-Ken (Guangzhou rapper), Tuantuan (a giant panda who speaks very, very slowly — made for absolute beginners), and Yunche (a sword cultivator who speaks the old way). • Daily reminders — one notification a day, at a time you choose. • Characters now remember only what they heard themselves. Missions that tell you what to say New in this version: • MISSIONS — Every character now gives you 3 small goals for the call ("order a drink", "say the size", "ask the price"), with pinyin and English. No more freezing up because you don't know what to say — just work through the list. • YOUR RECAP — After each call, see what you actually did: minutes talked, sentences spoken, missions completed and your day streak. • SPEAKING SPEED — Five levels, from 0.5x to 1.2x. Slow it down when you're starting out, speed it up as you get comfortable. Adjustable mid-call. • PINYIN ON EVERY WORD — Live subtitles now show pinyin above each character, so you can read along while they speak. • A fresh new look, plus faster, more stable calls.
