Employees clock in and out from a phone, a shared kiosk tablet, or the web, and every punch lands on one unified timecard. Crewhour models real shift rules out of the box: overtime, double-time, and California meal- and rest-break requirements are applied as the day happens, not patched on after payroll.
Because missed meal and rest breaks are a leading source of wage-and-hour claims, Crewhour captures the evidence automatically: break and timecard attestations, meal-violation reasons, and §226.7 premium tracking. Punch records are append-only and tamper-evident, so your timecards and wage-statement data stand up to an audit.
For managers and HR: review timecards, approve corrections, watch compliance at a glance, and export evidence bundles and pay-period reports.
