Browse built-in GIFs offline, remix your favorites, search the web, and keep exports in History with optional iCloud sync. GIFmaker is a complete GIF studio for making, editing, and discovering animated GIFs. Turn photos, videos, or Live Photos into animated GIFs, then fine-tune every detail with a live animated preview. No watermark and no account. Your personal photos are processed on your device. Optional iCloud sync keeps your exported GIF history available across your devices. Key features: - Photos to GIF — pick images and arrange them into an animation - GIF Library — browse and search 312 offline GIFs: 300 Google Fonts Noto animations licensed under CC BY 4.0 and 12 GIFmaker originals; remix with source credits, or search Baidu and Bing inside the app - Paste from clipboard — copy an image anywhere, then paste or drag it straight in - Video to GIF — trim any video or Live Photo and choose the frame rate - 11 border styles — neon glow, rainbow, sparkle, zigzag, sticker, dots, polaroid, film, rounded, stroke, or none - Live preview — watch your GIF play as you edit - Per-frame timing — set the delay of each frame on its own - Text overlays — add captions with custom color, size, and position - Filmstrip editing — drag to reorder, duplicate, reverse, or boomerang - Canvas presets — 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16 with fit and background controls - Export, share, or save GIFs to Photos - History — reopen saved GIFs for editing, or delete them with confirmation; new exports keep editable projects, with iCloud sync when available Online downloads show image previews and keep the original GIF bytes. Some websites block downloads or provide only static thumbnails. Use third-party images only with the necessary rights. To send an animated GIF through WeChat, save it to Photos first, then select it in WeChat. Also on Mac — the same editor, with clipboard paste and drag-and-drop. Perfect for social posts, memes, product demos, and tutorials.

This does almost everything I need and is easy to figure out. It’s free so I am not complaining, but here are a few suggestions: 1) Add Cancel buttons to dismiss image/video selection overlays. I had to force quit when I realized selections were only available from the Photos app. 2) “Add Photos” and “Import Video” buttons should say “Add Photos from Photos app” and “Import Video from Photos app.” “Paste Image” button should say “Paste or drag images from Finder.” 3) Allow selection of multiple frames using the shift key. I want to set the timing on multiple frames. Right I have to do them one by one or make them all the same using the Global settings.

Discover 312 offline GIFs, including 300 licensed Noto animations and 12 GIFmaker originals. Search Baidu or Bing in a larger in-app browser with a persistent Download GIF button. Download the opened original when the website permits it. Reopen saved GIFs for editing, delete with confirmation, and sync new editable exports with iCloud when available. Mac imports images from computer folders. Noto remixes preserve source credits. For WeChat, save to Photos before sending.
