You can try Do First before you decide whether to pay for it. Setup now takes you straight to your first alarm and your first unlock. There's no subscription screen standing in the way, and when Pro is offered you can close it and carry on using the app for free. Also in this update: • The monthly plan is shown first, and the free trial length is now always accurate. • Fixed a bug where the subscription screen could fail to load and leave you stuck. • New in Settings > Privacy: turn off anonymous usage data whenever you like.

NEW ALARM SOUNDS — pick your poison in the Sound picker: Classic Beeps, Red Alert, Arcade Riser, or Gentle Rise. Every one rings through Silent Mode and Focus. SHARE YOUR MORNING — beat your alarm and show it off. A tap on the celebration screen turns your wake time, streak, and mission into a story-ready card. LONGER FREE TRIAL — Pro now starts with a full 7 days free, so a real streak can form before you decide. Plus: guard alarms now protect two mornings ahead (closing the app can't dodge tomorrow's mission), a quick exit survey if you turn off renewal (tell Duke what went wrong), and smarter timing for rating prompts.

Your alarm just got harder to cheat. - Stop protection: stopping the alarm without finishing your mission doesn't end the morning anymore - the alarm comes back until the mission is done. You set the rules; Do First holds you to them. - NEW - Surprise me: pick a pool of missions and wake up to a random one every time. You won't know what's coming until it rings. - A bigger, thumb-friendly keypad on the math mission. - Under-the-hood fixes for alarm reliability.

Performance and reliability improvements.

The wake-up update. Do First now gets you OUT of bed — not just off your phone. • Wake-up alarms: a real system alarm that keeps ringing until you finish a wake-up mission. No more snooze-and-regret. • 9 missions to pick from: prove your first task with a photo, camera-counted pushups, math problems, steps, scan a code, type a phrase, repeat a memory pattern, or hunt down a surprise item. • One photo, two wins: the Prove-your-task mission turns off the alarm AND checks off your first task for the day. • Wake streaks with real rules: only days with an alarm count (weekends can't break your chain), and you get a set window after the ring to finish your mission — miss it and the streak resets to zero. • Achievements: a ten-badge ladder from First Morning to The 100 Club. • A brand-new Alarm dashboard: your week at a glance, the next alarm front and center, your written reason for getting up, and your signed commitment. • New alarm settings: mission time limit, pause the ring during missions, and strict rep mode for full-range pushups. • Duke judges your mornings now, too. He's fair. Mostly. Wake-up alarms require iOS 26.

Your phone just hired a bouncer. Meet Duke — he stands guard over your distracting apps and steps aside when your to-do list is done. He's stern, he's fair, and he takes your streak personally. NEW • Duke, everywhere — he reacts to your day: guarding, cheering you on, celebrating your unlock, and taking it hard when a streak breaks • Home Screen & Lock Screen widgets — see today's list and check tasks off with one tap, no app-open needed. Finish your last task from the Lock Screen and your apps unlock on the spot • Mirror mode — tap through Duke's door and see yourself, live, right above the list you haven't finished. A mirror only: nothing is ever recorded or saved, and you can turn it off in Settings • "Where your time goes" — exactly which apps ate your day, ranked worst-first with real times • Commit Mode (Pro) — lock your list in once you start; no editing your way out • Proof mode (Pro) — require a photo or link to check a task off • Usage-Cap rule (Pro) — apps re-lock after a daily time budget, even with tasks done • Streak Freeze (Pro) — one missed day is forgiven • Per-task streaks and milestone badges • A free daily snooze, and an evening heads-up when your streak is on the line Plus: apps now re-lock the instant your list changes, more reliable morning re-locking, and a smoother, faster app all around.

A fresh new app icon and a smoother first launch — Do First no longer asks for notification permission until you actually need it. Plus small fixes and polish. Thanks for using Do First. Now go finish your tasks and earn your scroll.
