Heard from a lot of you that conversations got cut off after just 3 messages. Fixed that: if either matched user is a paying member, you both now get 50 messages instead of 3, finally enough room to actually talk. Also added X (formerly Twitter) as a contact option, right alongside IG, Line, and Threads.

Added Threads as a contact option! A bunch of you asked for it after matching, so now you can share your Threads handle too, right alongside IG and Line.

This update fixes two things: the daily featured song no longer gets stuck on yesterday's pick, and "skip" on the match detail page finally actually skips.

Fixed a bug where new accounts hit a locked door when searching for songs during setup, no matter what you typed. The lock is fixed now, so it opens on the first try. Also added YouTube as a playback option, so if you don't have Spotify or Apple Music, you can still listen for free.

Still fine-tuning search to make every bit of quota count Spotify only gives us so many searches a day, so we keep adjusting how we spend that budget behind the scenes, trying to stretch it further without making search feel restricted. If you do burn through today's quota, the app will now honestly tell you roughly when you can try again, instead of leaving you staring at a blank screen guessing.

Turns out pinging Spotify every single keystroke was a bit much, no wonder it kept telling us to chill out. Search now waits until you hit Enter before asking, so Spotify gets to breathe and you'll run into way fewer "try again later" moments.

Introducing Daily Song! 1. Every day we pick one song that everyone's loving, a little musical spark to start your day and a reason to check back in. 2. New Daily Song notification toggle: turn it on or off anytime under Settings → Notifications, so you're always in control.

This update keeps the conversation going 1. Daily Discovery A hand-picked song waits for you every day, the same one for everyone, so you've always got something to talk about with your matches. 2. See their full playlist after matching Matching now unlocks their entire playlist, not just the songs you have in common. Turns out you both love this one, twice the things to chat about.

Three little treats this time 1. Say hello to gender filter! Only guys, only girls, or open to everyone? Flip the switch at the top of the match page and match your mood. 2. So many of you searching for songs at once, you occasionally overwhelmed the music service. We've added a "traffic control" system, so even when everyone's digging for tunes at the same time, your favorites still load smoothly. 3. Tap a song to play it on Spotify or Apple Music, so you can hear your match's taste firsthand.

We've made matching smoother this time: • Everyone you match with has now shared a contact method, so the moment you match you can reach each other — no more dead ends. • Tapping "Skip" now asks you to confirm, so a slip of the thumb won't cost you the right person.

1. Set the preset search range to 10km. 2. Added a comment feature after pairing (Thanks to Darren for the feedback)
