Khatma pace: you can now set how many minutes a day you want to read instead of a number of pages. The line along the mihrab fills as you read. Monthly support: Wird stays free for everyone. If you'd like, you can now support it every month, and as a thank-you you get extra themes and special editions of the app icon. Small fixes: the halaqa card shows the whole photo, and the khatma seals caption in Insights sits neatly under the seals.

Reading: a glowing line along the mihrab shows how much of today's wird you've done, and below it you see how many pages you've read this session. Halka: your recitation history now shows when each halka started and ended, and you can swipe an entry left to delete it. Lectures: a sheikh can leave the app during a lecture. Video, sound and recording keep going, and the camera stays in a small window.

Halka: before you enter a halka, Wird checks that you have the latest version, so calls work as they should. Daily wird: a page now counts toward your daily wird only once you have read it to its last āyah.

Halka: every window in the halka (the student list, the message to students, your name, the room note) now opens and closes smoothly, with the same look. Calls use far less data and battery while one side is only listening. Better battery life: Wird now uses much less power, especially on the home screen. On a foldable iPhone, unfolded and held sideways, the home screen uses both halves: your khatma on one side, your streak, progress and buttons on the other. Small fixes: on a folded iPhone the mihrab on the home screen no longer runs over the top of the screen, the room picture reaches the bottom of its card, and the buttons read clearly again.

Stopping signs, explained. With tajweed colours on, the stopping signs in the text are coloured too, and an ayah that has them shows a button above it. It opens every sign and what it means, the ones in that ayah first, and how to stop on a word. Focus mode: a tap anywhere on the reader now switches it, also beside the book at the top. A tap on the new button never switches it by mistake. The halka runs much lighter: the same look, with far less battery and heat during long calls.

The halka in a softer light: glass, a gentle glow and quiet motion through the whole circle. The mihrab glows while someone recites, the list moves with the room, and calls feel calmer. A background for lectures: a sheikh can blur the room behind them, or put a simple background or their own photo there. Listeners and the recording see the same picture. Lecture recordings are much sharper, and one tap makes a 16:9 YouTube version right on the phone. When the sheikh calls a student, the ringing now plays in Bluetooth headphones too.

A new look for live halka circles: the room, the incoming call and the call itself, with the circle's cover photo inside the call. Halka calls are more reliable: sound comes back after a phone or WhatsApp call, and the app tells you when no sound is getting through. You can see when the other side has muted their microphone, and how many are already in before you join. The app asks for the microphone when you enter a halka, not while your phone is ringing. Life-changing āyāt now covers all of Surah Al-Baqarah. The Wird blog, one tap away in Settings. The posts are in Bosnian for now.

Clearer Qur'an text: in some words a lengthening mark (madd) sat in the wrong place instead of above the right letter. It is now where it belongs. Plus small fixes across live halka circles, and the next halka time now shows in your own language.

You hear the call ringing: when you call someone into a circle, you now hear it ringing on your side too, so you know the call is going through. Headphones just work: if your headphones are connected, the call goes straight to them instead of the loudspeaker, and back to the speaker when you take them off. Plus fixes for calls that connected without any sound, especially when calling several people one after another.

More reliable Halaqa calls: Wird Halaqa calls connect faster and more reliably, and your place is kept if you step away. Recitation history: see what you've recited each day, with a gentle "done for today" on your Home screen. Plus small improvements and fixes across the app.

Fixes an issue in live Halaqa where the Back button could stop responding when the circle had a cover image. Plus reliability improvements.

Similar āyāt: from any āyah, see where the same phrase returns elsewhere in the Qurʼan, and compare the places side by side - a real help for memorization. Your reading time now appears in Insights. A new set of calm, ready-made wallpapers. Smoother background audio, plus refinements throughout.

This update polishes everyday reading: • Tadabbur: share a saved āyah in one tap (delete is now a long-press). • Go to by reference: separate sūrah and āyah fields, with a number pad. • Choosing your language now preselects a matching translation. • A refreshed onboarding finish and a tidier Halaqa screen. • Reliability and security improvements under the hood.

Introducing Wird Halaqa - live Qur'an circles. • Halaqa circles: a teacher listens to students one by one, live, wherever everyone is. • Group lectures: broadcast a lesson to a whole room, with optional recording. • Refreshed Settings that are easier to navigate. • Many small improvements and fixes. As always: free, ad-free, no account, fully private.

Swipe is back. Swipe left or right in the reader to move between ayat, right alongside the Next and Back buttons. We also added a much fuller in-app help section covering every part of the app, and updated our privacy policy: Wird now uses anonymous, aggregate usage insights, never tied to you, to help us build what you need. Plus small fixes and polish throughout.

Understand every word, and settle into your reading. • Tap a word: tap any word in the reader to see its root, its meaning and its grammatical form, alongside the other verses that share the same root. • New voices: listen to the Qurʼān in two more beautiful recitations, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary, the classic teaching voice, and Abu Bakr Al-Shatri. • A mihrab for your progress: your Home now shows how far through the muṣḥaf you are as a filling book set inside a mihrab niche, the same mark as the app icon and the reader. • A calmer pace picker: setting your khatma pace is now a swipeable card for each rhythm, on a lighter, translucent sheet. • Plus refinements and fixes throughout.

Share the Qurʼān beautifully, and make it yours. • Share an āyah: turn any āyah into a beautiful card, crescent, lanterns, arabesque and more, in any theme colour, or set it over your own photo (zoom, move and apply a soft effect). Trim the āyah, and its translation, to just the part you want to share. • Eid Mubarak cards: a gallery of Eid cards with heartfelt greetings in your language, ready to share with family and friends. • Invite with a card: sharing Wird now creates a lovely card with a QR code, so others can start reading too. • Make a wallpaper: craft a calm phone wallpaper from a library of templates, tune the palette and details, and save it at your screen's full resolution. • Widgets: add a Daily Āyah widget to see today's āyah at a glance, plus your progress ring, on the Home and Lock Screen. • A softer, glassy reader, where the āyah glides gently behind the book and controls. • Plus fixes and polish throughout.

Colour your tajweed, and stay present with the Qurʼān. • Tajweed rules: the rules of recitation, shown right in the reader, each gently coloured. Tap a coloured letter to learn its ruling in a calm little sheet. Off by default; turn it on in the reader's menu, and the text grows a little so every letter is easy to tap. • Deep Focus: turn it on once and distracting apps are shielded whenever you read or listen, so nothing pulls you away. Core apps like Phone and Messages stay available, everything stays on your device, and it lifts the moment you finish. • Plus small fixes and polish.

Memorize, reflect, and read with more comfort. • Memorize (Ḥifẓ): a gentle, guided way to commit an āyah to heart, a repetition ladder that builds one line at a time, at your own pace, with nothing to score. • Reflect (Tadabbur): add a private note to any saved āyah with a soft prompt, gather your reflections into collections, and share a calm, themed card, with your note included only if you choose. • Go anywhere: a new "Go to" sheet jumps by juzʼ, sūrah and āyah, or a reference like 2:255; browse by juzʼ; and open a life-changing āyah right in the reader. • Reading comfort: tune the page for night with warmth and dim, size and contrast the translation on its own, and switch between Night, Paper and Ink. • Listening, refined: switch reciter right in the player, set a sleep timer to pause after a while or at the end of the sūrah, and see a quiet summary when your session ends. • Reminders, your way: skip the reminder on days you've already read, choose reading or listening at setup, plus small fixes and polish.

A calmer home, and room to reflect. • A calmer home screen: quieter and quicker, tap the ring itself to continue, and reach Explore and your saved āyāt right from the bottom. • Reflect on what you save: your saved āyāt now show their translation and date, and you can add a private note to any of them, then search or sort the list. • Sleep timer: while listening, set a timer to pause after a while or at the end of the sūrah, with a live countdown. • Slower recitation speeds: 0.5× and 0.75× join the listening speeds, for careful, unhurried listening. • Switch or hide the translation right in the reader, a new custom icon set throughout the app, plus small fixes and polish.

Listen, reflect, and explore. • Listen to an āyah: in the reader, tap to hear the verse on screen, once, whenever its sūrah's recitation is downloaded. • Announcements: opt in to occasional, gentle notifications, quiet reminders and the odd bit of news. • Insights: a private screen that reflects your reading, days opened, pages read, your rhythm, your streak, and khatmas completed. • Jump to any juzʼ from Insights and start a free read at any one; your khatma position stays put. • More accurate recitation timing, plus small fixes and polish.

• New app languages: German, Turkish, and French, alongside English, Bosnian, and Arabic. Switch anytime in Settings. • New Qurʼān translations to read beside the Arabic: German (Bubenheim), Turkish (Diyanet Vakfı), and French (Hamidullah). • A safer start when beginning a khatma from a sūrah, so you never lose your place by accident. • A round of polish and small fixes throughout.

Wird is now made for iPad. The whole app is redesigned for the bigger screen, in both portrait and landscape: Home laid out with room to breathe, a wider and more comfortable reading column, Settings as a sidebar, and browsing the Qur'an as a grid. On iPhone, everything you know stays exactly as it was. Plus the usual round of refinements and polish throughout.

Ramadan mode now lights up your Home. During Ramadan, your progress becomes a mosaic of the whole Qur'an, all 30 juz, filling with light night by night as you read. Choose your pace, 3 to 30 days, and tap any night to see its portion. A missed day each week is now forgiven, so one busy day won't undo a long streak. Plus reader refinements and the usual round of polish.

- The Ramadan line is phrased as "arrives for the blessed month" (a promise), which is honest for App Store review since Ramadan mode is remote-activated and won't be visibly on when a reviewer opens the build. If you'd rather not mention Ramadan in the public notes at all, say so and I'll swap it for a neutral third item. - These are fuller than the in-app "What's New" sheet (that one stays as the three short cards). If you want the ASC text to read word-for-word like the in-app cards instead, I can match them exactly.
