Lifetime is a one-time purchase: it does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. Monthly is an auto-renewing subscription with a free trial for eligible customers; payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial, and it renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
