Narration now works completely offline. Twenty-two neural voices across English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Italian, and Japanese ship inside the app — no download, no streaming, no signal required. - Japanese books no longer narrate in Mandarin. Language detection now reads kana and script-exclusive characters, and trusts the book's own publication metadata. - English names inside Japanese prose are pronounced in English, without changing the voice. - Mandarin is an optional download in Settings, with a notification when it finishes. - Switching voices mid-book no longer interrupts playback. - A single difficult sentence no longer stops the chapter.
