There is more under your feet than you think. Gold that nobody ever dug up. Minerals, fossils, forgotten mine shafts from the old days. orecast shows you where. Tap a spot on the map and the app tells you which treasures are likely sitting in the ground there.
Sure, nobody can guarantee you the big find. But orecast does not guess. It reads real geological data and tells you honestly how good your odds are. Where gold is realistic, you see it. Where it is not, the app will not lie to you.
Here is how you go treasure hunting:
Open the map, let GPS find you or lock onto a far off region. Tap the spot, open the profile. Set the radius from five to fifty kilometers and see what is sitting in the ground all around you.
Four layers sit over the map. Minerals and ores shine in gold, caves and old mines glow blue and rust, fossils in green, historical sites in purple. One tap and you hide whatever does not grab you right now.
Want the full story? Ask orecast straight out what you would find at a spot. The answer comes back in plain words, no wall of data, just a clear call.
Made for everyone with a bit of gold fever in their blood. For treasure hunters, rock collectors, fossil chasers and anyone who wants to know what is waiting down there.
orecast Pro:
The subscription unlocks the AI answers, throws out the ads and opens the full depth of the data. Renews automatically, two taps to cancel in the settings. The map with all its layers stays open without a subscription too.
One more thing: orecast talks about odds, not certain deposits. And before you reach for the shovel, follow the local rules on nature protection, private land and collecting permits.

Orecast is a clean and user-friendly app with a smooth overall experience. The interface is simple to navigate, making it quick and convenient to explore the interactive geological map. A well-designed app that's easy to use and definitely worth trying!
New: the relief scanner.
Tap the scanner button and the map shows the ground itself: ditches, banks, mining pits, spoil heaps and old tracks hidden under woods and fields. It is based on official laser scans, at one metre or finer in ten German states, plus Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Norway, Czechia, Poland, England and Italy.
You can adjust contrast and sharpness so that fine structures stand out. The relief comes in grey or on top of the map. Without Pro the scanner shows a preview of one kilometre around your point, with Pro the whole map.
Also new: aerial imagery, official photos for all of Germany and Austria, visible from zoom level 10.
The English version is now fully translated, and old texts no longer linger after switching the language.
