Photo Slim 1.6.1 • Faster comparisons for similar photos, with more accurate progress updates. Interrupted comparisons resume where they left off. • Clean up folders in Files just like your photo library: review by category, preview items, and choose what to keep. • Rescans remember your choices and reuse analysis for unchanged files. Before permanently deleting files, the app checks that they still match what you reviewed.

Photo Slim 1.6 • New folder cleanup for photos and videos in Files. Find duplicate and similar photos, blurry shots, screenshots, and duplicate videos. Review the results before permanently deleting any files. • On iOS 26 or later, folder scans can continue when you switch apps if the system allows it. If a scan pauses, return to Photo Slim to continue; completed analysis is saved.

Photo Slim 1.5: • Faster loading, scrolling, and bulk selection in similar and duplicate photo results. • Keep photos and videos in their original standard albums after compression or conversion of Live Photos to still images. • Undo your most recent Select All or Deselect All action. • Save your review progress and pick up where you left off. • Compress supported AVI videos to MP4. Original files are kept if audio processing fails. • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

Photo Slim 1.4: • Similar photos: tap the Keep label to see why it was chosen — which criterion decided it, how many it was compared against, and how to switch • Picks go through several rounds of comparison; when the difference is too small to see, it keeps comparing other criteria • Blurry photos: shots from years ago are no longer selected by default — they are inherently less sharp, yet often the ones you least want to lose • Video compression: cards show capture date and duration, and you can play a video before compressing it • The completion screen now explains why your storage has not dropped — deleted photos go to Recently Deleted first, and space is freed once you empty it. One tap takes you there • Everything still runs entirely on your iPhone

Photo Slim 1.3: • Your first cleanup is free — try the whole flow before you buy • Similar photos: the best shot is now chosen by analyzing sharpness and faces on your device, and you can change which one to keep • Video compression: pick 720p, 540p or 360p, watch progress for each file, and H.264 videos compress faster by keeping their original codec • Folder compression can now rescue damaged videos — it keeps the parts that still play and skips the rest. Your original files are never overwritten • Everything still runs entirely on your iPhone

Photo Slim 1.2 is here: • Redesigned scan results: one clear number for the space you can free, plus a recommended place to start • Full-screen photo preview with pinch-to-zoom and a filmstrip, so you can check every photo before you delete it • Results now state that photos are analyzed entirely on your iPhone, and that deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days • Storage sizes now use the same units as the Photos app, so the numbers match • More accurate compression estimates, and files that are already compressed are skipped • Folder compression stops safely if a source file changes while it is being compressed • Fixed plural wording and other text details across 34 languages

Photo Slim 1.1 is here: • Added folder compression for photos and videos in the Files app, with compressed files saved beside the originals • Faster photo scanning and compression, with clearer real-time progress • Stronger video output validation to ensure compressed files are complete and playable • Compression issues are grouped by reason and show the affected files • Fixed reclaimed-space totals not including compression results • Improved the language picker, sharing, and other interface details • Improved overall stability and usability
