Search inside files, filter by type, size, and date — all in memory, all on your Mac. Type a name and get results before you finish the word. Fast Search Everything for Mac finds your files the instant you start typing. Choose the folders you want to include, and the app builds a lightning-fast index — then searches it entirely in memory, so results appear in real time. WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT • Instant search-as-you-type — no waiting, no spinning beachball • Filter by type, size, and date — or use powerful syntax (ext:, size:, dm:) • Search inside file contents — find text buried in documents, not just filenames • You choose the folders — Home, Documents, an external drive, anything you grant • Quick filters: Audio, Video, Document, Picture, Folder, File • Global hotkey — summon search from anywhere • Menu bar access for one-click launching • Clean, native macOS design built for speed PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your Mac. The app only looks at folders you explicitly grant access to — nothing is collected, uploaded, or shared. Your index lives locally and never leaves your device. FAST. FOCUSED. YOURS. Stop digging through Finder windows. Add a folder, start typing, and get straight to the file you need.
