YOUR BEST STREAK IS REMEMBERED NOW Miss a day and your current streak resets — that hasn't changed. What has is that the run you built no longer disappears with it. Progress now shows your longest streak ever, whenever it beats the one you're on. MADE FOR WIDER SCREENS On an iPad or any wide screen, the tabs move to a rail down the side, the day's cards sit three across, and Progress shows your stats beside your history instead of one long column. A FAIRER DAILY QUIZ The wrong answers in the quiz now look like right ones: a "which country" question offers four countries, a "how many" question four numbers. Before, an odd option out could give the answer away. And one question no longer hands you the answer to a later one. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • "Coins earned" on Progress now counts your quiz coins too • Larger text sizes no longer push buttons off the screen or split words • The coin total in the bonus pop-up is easier to read • The cards no longer jump when the banner loads

A CHANGE TO CASHING OUT Your first cash-out is still 2,000 coins ($2.00). Every cash-out after it now needs 5,000 coins ($5.00). PayPal charges us a near-flat fee on every transfer, so it takes a far bigger bite out of a small payout than a large one. Keeping your first one cheap and batching the rest leaves more to pay you with. The reason is shown on the cash-out screen whenever it applies. If you have cashed out before, the new figure applies the moment you update. SMALLER THINGS Housekeeping under the hood, and the coin figures quoted on the store page now match what the app actually pays. Watching a video is still always optional — you never have to see an ad to earn from a fact or the daily quiz.

YOUR HISTORY AND STREAK ARE BACK If your device changes its clocks for summer time, the facts you had already revealed were being left out of Progress — and your day streak was resetting along with them. Both are fixed. Everything you earned comes back on its own the first time you open this version. Nothing was lost, and there is nothing you need to restore. The same underlying mistake had two smaller symptoms, both also fixed: a streak could drop on the morning the clocks changed, and yesterday's facts stopped being grouped under "Yesterday". SMALLER THINGS Coin counts read correctly when you earn exactly one. Revealing a card now says "1 coin" rather than "1 coins", and so do your history, your quiz result and the reward screen. Watching a video is still always optional — you never have to see an ad to earn from a fact or the daily quiz. Cashing out starts at 2,000 coins ($2.00).

A NEW LOOK The cards, the quiz and your progress have been rebuilt around the app's own colours and lettering. Each category now carries its own colour, and the whole app follows your device's light or dark setting. The three screens sit on tabs, so moving between today's facts, the quiz and your history is one tap. DAILY REMINDERS An optional nudge each evening, for the days you still have facts left to reveal. It stays quiet when you have already turned over every card. Switch it on in Settings — nothing is scheduled until you do, and you are asked for permission at the switch rather than on the way in. EASIER TO READ, EASIER TO REACH Bigger tap targets, stronger contrast, and full VoiceOver labels on the cards, the quiz answers and your coin balance. The layouts hold together at the largest accessibility text sizes. FEWER MISSING VIDEOS The optional bonus video now falls back to a second provider when the first has nothing to show, so "no video available" should come up less often. Also fixed: the home screen said an optional video earned 4 extra coins. It pays between 3 and 9, drawn fresh each time, and the screen now says so. Watching a video is still always optional — you never have to see an ad to earn from a fact or the daily quiz. Cashing out starts at 2,000 coins ($2.00).

A BIGGER BONUS VIDEO The optional video after revealing a fact now pays 3-9 coins instead of a flat 4, and you see the number roll in as it lands. On average that's more than before. Watching a video is still always optional — you never have to see an ad to earn from a fact or the daily quiz. Cashing out starts at 2,000 coins ($2.00). SETTINGS, AND DELETING YOUR DATA There's a Settings screen now. It has the privacy policy, and a way to delete everything we hold about you — your coins, your history and your account — in one tap plus a confirmation. Records of payouts you've already requested are kept for tax and fraud reasons; the app tells you that before you confirm. GETTING HELP Settings also has a contact form. Tell us what went wrong and we'll reply by email — your app version and account id are attached automatically, and shown to you before you send, so we can look up a missing payout without a dozen questions first.
