Your guided mushroom grow journal: stage reminders, yield and BE% tracking, contamination logs, and an AI grow assistant. Every grow, culture to harvest.
Your guided grow journal.
MycologyIQ is a tracker app for gourmet and functional mushroom growers. Replace the scattered notes and the guesswork with a guided, stage-by-stage journal from culture to harvest. Track every grow, never miss a step, and finally see which strains and methods actually work for you.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Start a grow: pick a strain (from the gourmet library or your own), a method, and the stage you're starting from
2. Follow the pipeline: advance through each stage with one tap and get reminders for shakes, fresh air, misting, and harvest
3. Log your harvest: record yield and biological efficiency, track contamination, and watch your stats grow
GUIDED GROW PIPELINE
• Eight stages from culture to harvest, with days-in-stage and the next action at a glance
• Stage-aware guidance: what to watch for, typical timing, and the failure modes to catch early
• One-tap stage advance, automatically timestamped
• Start a grow at any stage. Bought spawn? Begin at bulk
SMART REMINDERS
• Stage-appropriate notifications: shake grain spawn, introduce fresh air, mist, check colonization, expect pins, harvest window
• Accept the suggested cadence or set your own
• Never miss the step that makes or breaks a flush
HARVEST AND YIELD LOG
• Log every flush: wet weight and optional dry weight, across multiple flushes per grow
• Automatic biological efficiency (BE%) when you enter your substrate weight: the number serious growers track
• Record contamination honestly, by type and stage, and learn from every grow
INSIGHTS
• Success rate, average BE%, and average days-to-harvest, by strain and by method
• Lifetime yield across every grow
• A clean harvest card to save and share your best flush
AI GROW ASSISTANT
Ask cultivation questions grounded in your own grow: "fully colonized but won't pin, what now?" Cultivation guidance only.
PHOTO TIMELINE
Attach dated photos to any grow for a visual progression, with editable notes and events. Your journal, your way.
BUILT FOR
• First-time growers who want to know "is this normal, and what's next?"
• Small growers tracking yield, BE, and success across strains
• Optimizers dialing in the methods that perform
