Review words at just the right time with spaced repetition. NEW FEATURES [Spaced Repetition] A new question order, Spaced Repetition, picks the right time to review each word based on your answers, and quizzes you only on words that are due for review or that you haven't studied yet. Each correct answer stretches the interval: 1 → 3 → 7 → 16 → 36 → 80 → 180 days. A wrong answer starts the word over. You can check each word's next review date and review stage on its edit screen. * The Spaced Repetition question order is part of "Unlock All Features". [See exactly what was wrong] When a voice or handwritten answer is wrong, the parts that differ from the correct answer are marked. [See handwriting recognition as you write] When you finish writing, what was recognized appears before you press the check button, so you can make sure it's right before you answer. [Read the answer aloud] The answer card now has a button that reads the answer aloud, even when "Read Answer Aloud" is turned off in Settings. FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS • Voice and handwriting answer areas now show which language to answer in. • When a handwritten answer differs only in uppercase and lowercase letters, it's still marked correct, with a note pointing out the difference. • In word lists, Add Folder is now in the + menu, and Select and Sort are now in the … menu. • When words added on a device without Apple Intelligence arrive through iCloud, a device that supports it now creates their example sentences automatically (when Generate Examples Automatically is on). • Fixed an issue where moving words could fail the first time. • Fixed an issue where answers weren't recorded if you ended a quiz partway through. • Fixed an issue where automatically filled-in readings garbled katakana long vowel marks and Latin letters (such as コーヒー and Tシャツ).

Study words in languages beyond English. NEW FEATURES [Support for 32 languages] Make word lists in French, Korean, Chinese, and more — 32 languages in all. Choose the word and translation languages for each folder or each word. Reading aloud, voice answers, and handwritten answers all use the language you choose. * Automatic translations and AI example sentences aren't available for some languages. [Read words from photos in more languages] Taking a photo of a textbook or handout to add its words now works in 20 languages, including French, German, and Chinese. * Outside English, words appear as they're written in the text (not in their base forms). Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese are coming later. [Kanji and reading cards] Set the word language to Japanese and the translation to Japanese (Hiragana) to make cards that pair kanji with their readings. Readings are filled in for you. When these cards quiz you on the translation, you write the kanji for a reading shown in an example sentence. * Kanji writing uses example sentences made by AI example sentences. [Default languages] Choose the languages for new words under Default Languages in Settings. The setting syncs to your other devices via iCloud. [Language suggestions] When you add words, the app guesses their language from what you type and offers to switch to it. [Better CSV import] Choose which columns become the word, translation, and folder when you import. You can also pick whether the first row is a header, the text encoding (such as Shift_JIS), the delimiter (tab or semicolon), and the languages. Exported files now record their languages, which are picked up on import. [Help getting started] When you haven't added any words yet, the home screen shows how to get started. FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS • Japanese voice answers are now graded correctly even when kanji, hiragana, and katakana differ. • Japanese handwritten answers are now graded correctly even when hiragana and katakana differ. • You're now asked before handwriting recognition data is downloaded over cellular. • Fixed an issue where CSV files with CRLF line endings couldn't be imported.

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS • When answering by voice, recording now starts sooner after you press the mic button. • Fixed an issue where voice answers could be recognized less accurately in word lists with more than 100 words. • The screen no longer briefly freezes when switching between reading aloud and recording. • When the app is shown in English, the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy links on the purchase screen now open the English pages.

声に出して覚える「音声解答」を追加しました。 ■ 音声で解答する マイクボタンを押している間だけ聞き取り、指を離した瞬間に採点します。 話している間は波形が動くので、声を拾えているかが一目で分かります。 「解答」>「形式」から切り替えられます。 ■ そのほかの改善 ・"21st" のような序数の読み上げなど、細かな不具合を修正しました。
