Rock Accounts are now simpler: sign in or create an account with Apple, choose a username, and connect with friends without Game Center. We upgraded online services for friend battles, rankings, and notifications, and fixed Apple sign-in. Enjoy improved Cairn controls, scene selection, and the return flow after map captures. Collection milestones now scale to all 63 rocks. The XP Grinder now earns 5,000 XP per day, and feeding XP scales with rock rarity. Wild-map Legendary spawns are 2%, and Sparkling rocks now have a 1-in-2,000 chance per new wild spawn. Includes additional reliability improvements.

Explore a closer, more immersive 3D map with more nearby rocks and improved chest placement. Challenge five new Legendary bosses in their own arenas. Friend battles have clearer status, smoother planning, and a 50-Pebble victory reward. Capture cubes and XP packs now cost fewer Pebbles, and wearable prices have been rebalanced. Sparkling rocks always receive Pristine quality while keeping their independent trait rolls. Gifts have a new realistic stone design with a glowing seam. Explore 50 new rockhounding guides across Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, and North Carolina. A new map toggle lets you show or hide rockhounding locations, and the location arrow now follows your phone’s compass. Map chests can now reward shop wearables and bonus capture cubes, with clearer drop odds. This update also improves nearby map visibility and fixes the clipped Shop label and keyboard stability when naming a newly caught rock.

Friend battles are easier to follow with clearer turn indicators, visual team previews, and a simpler way to challenge friends. Discover two new abilities—Crystal Beam and Self Explode—alongside refreshed battle effects and balance improvements. This update also improves the sparkling boss arena, map chest behavior, and screen stability.

Boss battles have been rebuilt with unique natural arena designs for every boss. Sparkling boss victories now drop a breakable chest inside the arena, with a 10% chance to spawn a catchable sparkling companion nearby. Pristine rocks sparkle everywhere, with one base star plus one additional star for each trait. Rock stat screens are cleaner, trait odds are now 37%, and ordinary wild sparkling odds are standardized at 1 in 1,000. Boss progression is reset once for the rebuilt arena experience. Battle sounds now play reliably on devices, with calm, sparse nature ambience at 10% volume. Nature ambience plays while the app is open, with loudness controlled by your phone's volume. The global leaderboard now adds signed-in players automatically and uses the same all-time rock-step total shown to friends.
