Fill the room with a tuned arc of floating balls. Reach out and ring them, arrange them in space, record loops, and export straight to MIDI for your DAW.
Ball Bells turns the space around you into a playable instrument.
Open the immersive space and a tuned arc of glowing bells appears within arm's reach. Look at a bell and pinch, or simply reach out and tap it with a fingertip — it lights up, bounces, and rings. Play faster and you'll swing your hand harder; strikes are velocity-sensitive, so gentle taps whisper and quick ones ring out.
Make it yours
Every bell is fully customizable. Set its pitch, size, and color, then shape its voice with five timbres — Classic Bell, Glass, Warm Chime, Gong, and Marimba — plus decay and brightness controls. Give each one its own animation when struck: Bounce, Pulse, or Jiggle.
Arrange in real space
Switch to Edit mode and pinch-grab any bell to move it anywhere around you — above your desk, in a wide arc, or stacked into a chord you can strum with one sweep of your hand.
Tuned to your key
Choose a root note and a scale — Major, Natural Minor, Major & Minor Pentatonic, Blues, or full Chromatic — then retune every bell to the scale, snap existing pitches into key, or load a fresh preset in a single tap.
Record, loop & layer
Capture a performance with an optional metronome and quantize (quarter, eighth, or sixteenth notes). Turn on looping, then overdub new layers on top of the loop to build up a full pattern. Set your own tempo and loop length.
Take it further with MIDI
Export any recording as a standard MIDI file and drop it straight into Logic, Ableton, or any DAW. Or send live notes out in real time via a CoreMIDI virtual source, or stream raw MIDI over UDP to another device on your network — each bell has its own MIDI channel, note, and velocity.
Save and reopen
Save your bell setups and recordings as files and reload them whenever you like.

Ball Bells is designed for Apple Vision Pro and uses hand tracking to let you play bells with your bare hands.
