OUR STORY
deBi started with a goal.
While watching a big football match, I started wondering how loud a stadium gets when thousands of people celebrate at the same time. Then I thought: why do sound meter apps always look so boring?
A number on an empty screen does not tell much of a story.
So I imagined a sound meter where the world around you becomes part of the experience. A stadium crowd, a noisy room, a snoring contest, or even a quiet neighborhood.
That idea became deBi. A simple sound meter, made a little more fun and a lot more interesting.
HOW IT WORKS
Open deBi and your camera starts with a live dB meter on the screen. Take a photo or record a video, and the reading is saved inside it.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• See the live sound level on your camera, from about 20 to 110 dB
• Take photos with the dB reading on the screen
• Record videos with the live meter inside the video
• Save photos and videos to your gallery automatically
• Switch between Analog, VU and Wave meters, even while recording
• Use the front or rear camera, in portrait or landscape
• Keep a history of your recordings with date, duration and peak dB
• Calibrate the microphone by up to ±20 dB
• Choose a light or dark theme and use deBi offline
