Istețel: English&Math
Learn English and Math
$4.99 · Designed for iPad
Fun, bite-sized English lessons for kids — words, animals, colors, and more. Learn by playing, no account needed, works fully offline.
Istețel is a learning app for anyone who wants to practice English/Romanian and Math at home, at their own pace.
The app is available in Romanian and English. You choose the app's language and what you want to do: learn English starting from your own language, or simply practice in your native language.
ENGLISH — over 35 topics with vocabulary and audio pronunciation: alphabet, numbers, colors, animals, body, family, food, clothes, house, jobs, sports, vehicles, weather, nature, music, opposites, days of the week and much more. Every word is spoken with correct English pronunciation. Over 15 exercise types: audio gallery, picture-to-word, translation, listen and choose, type the word, missing letter, word search, pairs, memory, anagrams, true/false, odd one out, sorting by category, and sentence exercises (fill the gap, build and choose the sentence).
MATH — over 35 topics, from first steps to higher grades: counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, times tables, fractions, clock and time, money and change, measurement, geometry (shapes, solids, angles, perimeter, area, symmetry), Roman numerals, place value, rounding, order of operations, number webs and word problems.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT:
• Bilingual, with language choice — instructions are in your language, while English answers and audio are in English. You can set Romanian or English as the app language.
• Adaptive difficulty — math exercises scale up or down automatically based on your answers, separately for each operation.
• Real pronunciation — every English word is read aloud.
• Many exercise types — each lesson mixes recognition, listening, writing, memory and logic, so practice never feels repetitive.
• Pressure-free practice — daily streaks, mascots and rewards, with no stressful timer.
• 100% offline — works with no internet, no account, no ads and no in-app purchases. Progress stays on your device.
• Dark and light mode.
Istețel collects no personal data and requires no sign-up.
