Switch recording on once. Stopbook keeps your route, places and photos, and in the evening you read your day back.
Stopbook keeps your day for you. Switch recording on once and Stopbook keeps every stop along your route while your phone is in your pocket. The places where you stayed appear in your journal with place names, weather and your own photos. In the evening you read your day back like a story.
RECORDING WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT
• Choose Accurate for a detailed route, or Battery saver for arrivals and departures only
• When you stand still, Stopbook scales back to save power
• Pause until tomorrow with one tap
• Add a place yourself or save a moment with a photo and a note, also afterwards
A PAGE FOR EVERY DAY
• Your days listed with route, places and distance
• Photos from your library matched by time and place
• Play back your day, stop by stop
• Stop not quite right? Rename or merge it with a swipe
• On this day: what were you doing a year ago?
PLACES AND EXPERIENCES
• Stopbook recognises restaurants, museums, cafés and viewpoints and asks how it was
• Keep a rating, the dish to order and whether you want to go back
• Share an experience with friends as a file
TRIPS
• Trips are detected for you
• Create one yourself, for a day out or a trip still to come
• Choose a cover photo for every trip album
STOPBOOK STUDIO (OPTIONAL)
Turn a trip into a designed PDF travel book with a route map, days, photos and place details, in two styles. Export your routes as GPX for apps like Strava, Komoot or Google Earth. Preview your own book for free first. One-time purchase, no subscription.
YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• No account, no ads, no trackers
• Your journal lives on your iPhone and in your own iCloud
• Privacy zones: record nothing around your home or office
• Full backup of all your data, always free
Also: widget, Live Activity, Siri and Shortcuts, Spotlight, light and dark theme. Available in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
Background location can use more battery. With Battery saver, Stopbook only records arrivals and departures.
