This release is built from your feedback: • Nearby: Browse now opens with the lights within reach of where you are, in distance order, each showing how far away it is. Set your own search radius. Your location never leaves your device. • See yourself on the map: a new button recenters on your location and shows a live blue dot. • Choose which app opens Directions: Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze — with an option to remember your pick. • Filter the map by province or region.

-Map markers now show a lighthouse tower icon instead of a generic pin. -Updated USLHS stamp information for some Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia lighthouses.

Tell us about a problem from inside the app — tap the new button beside the photo count on any lighthouse to suggest a correction, or use "Suggest an update" in the More menu for anything else. Both open a pre-filled email draft, or copy the report to the clipboard if you'd rather send it yourself.

• Read aloud -A speaker button on the lighthouse page reads the open tab (history, location & directions, or notes) out loud — handy hands-free or while driving. -A small animated wave on the tab shows what's being read. -Pause and resume a reading, or skip back and ahead one sentence at a time, from a mini-player bar. -Settings lets you pick the read-aloud speed (0.75x–2x) and voice from the ones installed on your device, with a Preview button to hear changes on the spot. • Coastal regions: -Browse by coastal region: new chips above the Browse state grid (All, New England, Gulf Coast, …) narrow the grid to one coastal region at a time. -The Search state picker now groups states by coastal region with a select-all checkbox per region — one tap scopes a search to an entire region. • iCloud journal sync: -Your journal — visits, favorites, stamps, ratings, and notes — now syncs automatically across your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud accoun
