50 redesigned starting positions
Explore positions that combine pieces on the board with pieces in hand. The opening positions have been redesigned to give you room to prepare your attack before the first check.
Use Next Game to move through the stages in order. After stage 50, the sequence starts again.
Check how pieces move
Turn on Hints to see each piece's movement directions. Play at your own pace while you learn or refresh the piece movements.
Try a different move
Undo your previous turn, or restart from the same position to explore another approach.
Rules at hand
Check the controls and rules inside the app, including double pawns, illegal pawn-drop checkmate, and repetition.
