Surbuy — Secure Marketplace for Buying and Selling
Surbuy is a marketplace application designed to enable safe and structured buying and selling of goods through verified users and escrow-based transactions.
The platform connects buyers and sellers in a single ecosystem where transactions are protected until both parties fulfill their obligations.
Key Features
Escrow Protection
Payments are held securely and only released when the buyer confirms receipt of the item as agreed.
User Verification (KYC)
Surbuy includes a verification system to reduce fraud and improve trust between users.
Listings Management
Sellers can create, manage, and update product listings easily within the application.
Search and Discovery
Users can browse available products or services and filter listings based on their needs.
In-App Messaging
Buyers and sellers can communicate directly through the platform to agree on transaction details.
Purchase Requests
Users can post requests for items they want to buy and receive offers from sellers.
Dispute Handling
A structured process is available to resolve conflicts between buyers and sellers when issues arise.
How It Works
1. A seller lists a product or a buyer creates a request
2. A buyer initiates a purchase
3. Payment is secured through escrow
4. Seller delivers the product
5. Buyer confirms receipt
6. Funds are released to the seller
Safety and Trust
Surbuy is built with a focus on reducing scams in peer-to-peer commerce by introducing verification, controlled payments, and structured transaction flows.
Availability
Surbuy is initially being deployed in Cameroon with plans for expansion to other regions.
