Evie & Theo began on a couch, not in an office. I was making up a silly story with my six-year-old granddaughter. She picked the characters, I did the voices, and by the end we both wished we could keep it. This app is that night, bottled: a way for a grown-up and a child to turn their ideas into a real illustrated storybook, together.
It's deliberately simple. An idea like "a dragon who's scared of thunder" is all it needs.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Describe your story idea — or tap Surprise me for one of ours.
2. Pick a flavor: silly, adventurous, magical, mystery, superhero, or rhyme time.
3. Pick one of nine art styles, from soft watercolor to comic to coloring book.
4. About a minute later, you're reading a real picture book together — cover, scenes, and full-page illustrations.
Your characters keep the same face from page to page, so your child recognizes their hero in every scene.
STARRING YOUR FAMILY
Save the people and pets you love as characters. Describe them once and we'll draw their portrait. Then just type their name in any story idea, and they'll look the same in every book. Did a story invent someone wonderful? Save them from the cast at the end of the book.

• Each story reads in about 5–7 minutes — just right for bedtime.
• Save favorites and re-read them anytime, offline.
• Export any book as a PDF to print at home or send to family.
• The Coloring Book style prints as clean line art, ready for crayons.
• No accounts, no logins, no ads.
• Private by design: we don't keep what you type or the stories we make. Saved books and characters live on your device only.

Evie & Theo is a subscription. Your first 3 stories are free, then choose:
• Monthly — $2.99 per month
• Yearly — $19.99 per year (save about 44%)
Your subscription unlocks unlimited story creation. Reading the bundled sample story, re-reading books you've already saved, saving characters, and your 3 free stories never require a subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your device Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
