This one is about making the writing itself smoother. ◉ Three languages English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. The interface, permission prompts, Siri phrases, widgets and the first-run sample notes all follow your system language. Dates and weekdays use your locale's format now too. ◉ Tappable tasks A `- [ ]` in a note is a real checkbox now. Tap the box to check it off — no more editing the text by hand. ◉ A toolbar that behaves Bold, heading, quote, list and task markers now land at your cursor and wrap whatever you've selected, instead of jumping to the end of the note. Quote, list and task toggle back off when tapped again. ◉ Review has its own tab Daily Review and On This Day moved out of Calendar and into a tab of their own. ◉ This week A weekly card at the top of Review: how much you wrote, how many days you kept, how that compares to last week, your most-used tag, and the longest note of the week. ◉ Reminders that read the room Already wrote today? No nudge. On a streak? A reminder not to break it. Broke one? Just a quiet "starting over is fine too." Also fixed: the calendar year showing up as "2,026".
