The App Store now lists all 25 languages Chess Caddy speaks, and the app has grown since the last update: • Paste a whole roster — names and ratings from a spreadsheet or group chat become players in one go. • Late entries — add a player after round 1 and they join the next round. • Requested half-point byes — a player who has to miss a round can keep half a point. • More tiebreaks — Buchholz Cut 1, Median, and head-to-head join Buchholz, Sonneborn-Berger, and Cumulative. • A round timer for the wall, and a QR code that opens the published standings on any phone. For clubs: every new club page now starts with 60 days free, no card needed, and includes certificates, a saved roster, and a TV display. Running tournaments stays free. No account needed.

Club pages, now available as a subscription from inside the app. A club page keeps every event you run at your own web address, along with a rating ladder that updates after each club night and a page for every member. Monthly or yearly, and you can restore a purchase on a new device. Also in this update: signing in is now a six-digit code sent to your email, instead of a link you had to open in your browser. It is quicker, and it works properly inside the app. Running tournaments stays free. No account needed.

New in this version: a built-in Chess 960 generator. Press the 960 button in the header and Chess Caddy rolls a random legal Fischer Random starting position — a board diagram showing exactly where every piece goes with the files labelled, the official position number from 0 to 959, the eight-letter code, and a plain-English note on how castling works when the rook did not start on a1. You can also look up a specific position by number, so a director can announce the same one to a whole room, copy it as text, or print a sheet for the wall. Like the rest of the app it works offline, needs no account, and it never touches a tournament already in progress.

Chess Caddy now speaks three languages. The app automatically matches your device's language — English, Spanish, or German — and you can switch anytime from the menu in the top bar. Everything is translated: pairings, standings, tiebreaks, and player history. As always, it's free, works offline, and your data never leaves your device.

Small polish update: • You can now rate Chess Caddy right from the app. • Minor improvements under the hood. Tournaments run exactly as before.
