Fresher bar list, steadier Friends. • Updated bar roster — new spots added and closed ones retired, so the map matches the city • Friends is more reliable — accepting a friend request and removing a shared check-in now hold up on slow or spotty connections • Your existing visits and "been here" marks carry over automatically when a bar's listing changes • Under-the-hood fixes and polish Friends is completely optional — everything else stays 100% on your device.

Friends is here — and the whole app got a redesign. FRIENDS (optional) • Add friends with a QR code, invite code, or share link — no accounts, no directory, no phone numbers • Tonight: see which bars your friends are at right now • Share a check-in with exactly the friends you choose; it appears in their Tonight feed • Per-friend controls — pick who gets your check-ins, friend by friend or in groups • Get a notification when someone sends you a friend request; nothing is shared until you approve • Private by design: runs on your iCloud, invite codes instead of a directory, and shared check-ins auto-delete within 24 hours REDESIGNED THROUGHOUT • Quick Log button — log a night from anywhere in the app, in two taps • Map pins you can read at a glance, plus a coverage callout showing how much of the city you've hit • Your Year in Bars: a recap of the year's nights out • History calendar now shades your busiest days • Bar detail opens straight to logging, and the badges sheet leads with what's within reach • Neighborhood breakdown is back on Stats, and every badge explains how to earn it • New app icon and launch screen Friends is completely optional — everything else stays 100% on your device.
