Crochet patterns are packed with shorthand: sc2tog, ch-2 sp, rep from * 3 times. PlainStitch turns that shorthand into clear, plain-English steps you can actually follow, one at a time.
HOW IT WORKS
Import a pattern as a PDF (including scanned pages), a photo or screenshot, or pasted text. PlainStitch reads the designer's own abbreviation key, expands every abbreviation, and rewrites each row or round into short, direct instructions — without changing what the designer wrote. The original pattern is always one tap away.

CATCH MISTAKES BEFORE YOU MAKE THEM
PlainStitch checks the stitch math in every round. If a pattern says 13 stitches but the round actually makes 12, it tells you — before you're three rounds deep.

Stuck on a round? Ask the Pattern Assistant a question in your own words — "I only count 9 double crochet, what did I do wrong?" — and get an answer about your exact pattern.

It renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
