MeteoLupa puts today's weather in perspective using archive data: how unusual is today compared to many years of history? Clear, factual — on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
FIVE TABS
Today, Forecast, Lens, Time travel and More. The old Context view now lives on Today (insight) and in Time travel (comparisons).
LENS
Today and a past year on the same map — same colour scale. Turn the ring to travel through time.
TODAY
Temperature, rain and wind against decades of archive data. A wind map over your location, air quality with official European and US bands plus PM2.5.
FORECAST
Hourly trend and the days ahead.
TIME TRAVEL
Days: two dates side by side — including air quality and moon phase.
Month: the same month in two years.
Records: the hottest and coldest days at your place (this month or the full record).
WIDGETS & APPLE WATCH
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets plus Apple Watch app and complications. Shared data between iPhone, widgets and Watch.
FREE WITH OPTIONAL TIPS
MeteoLupa is free. Voluntary donations support ongoing development — entirely optional, no premium features.
Languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Catalan, Romanian, Slovenian, Estonian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Czech, Hungarian, Slovak, Greek, Croatian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Bulgarian and Vietnamese.
Intuitive and simple interface. Love seeing the historical weather and how it compares to today.

Dusty Paul
A well-designed, sleek app that is very intuitive and impressive, offering historical comparisons and much more.
Developer Response
Thank you! This really means a lot, especially as the first review for MeteoLupa. 😊
It’s great
X-AANI
Beautiful and clear.
Developer Response
Thank you! I’m really glad the clean look comes across, that was one of the things I cared about most when building it.
• New in the lens: three levels, Fine, Medium and Coarse. Medium is the default, recommended for iPad. Coarse is enough on iPhone. Fine stays available. The difference is hardly visible, but Fine costs many more calls.
• Before a lens package downloads, the app shows about how many calls it needs.
• If Open-Meteo pauses the connection, the notice appears on every page. Current weather and the forecast then come from Apple.
• Finished archive days stay saved.
• Hourly widgets use fixed columns. If space runs out, a whole column is dropped. Data that is too old shows no numbers. Text follows the app language.
