Metadata Cleaner: Remove EXIF
Strip GPS location in one tap
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Before you post or AirDrop a photo, see its GPS location, camera model and date taken, then remove them in one tap. Your original stays untouched, all on your device.
Remove GPS location, camera model, and capture date from your photos in one tap, before you share them. Everything happens on your device — nothing is ever uploaded to a server.
■ Great for
- Stripping location data before posting to Instagram, X, or messaging apps
- Sharing photos over AirDrop or iMessage without revealing where you live or work
- Protecting your kids' privacy before sharing family photos
- Anyone who just wants metadata gone, without learning a complex EXIF editor
■ Features
- Select a photo and instantly see 3 lines: Location (GPS), Camera model, Date taken
- One button — "Remove metadata" — clears everything
- A green checkmark re-verifies on-device that nothing sensitive remains
- Your original photo is never modified — a new, clean copy is created
- Share directly from the completion screen, or save to your Photos library
- Zero server upload, fully offline, minimal ads
■ Free / Premium
Removing metadata from one photo at a time is free. Premium (lifetime/yearly/monthly) unlocks batch processing for multiple photos and removes ads.
Note: Live Photos are copied as still images. The video portion (which may still contain location data) is not included.
