meet spo the search tab now has spo. type "where are we going out tonight" or "a cafe to work from", and spo picks from real places on spotra. not sure? tap one of the suggestion cards. explore | my map two views at the top of the map: explore shows everyone's spots, my map shows the places you saved and visited, split into "saved" and "been there". in explore you can show only the people you follow. add to my map the discover feed got new cards: photo first, "add to my map" right under it. tap a photo to see it full screen. when you save a place, a small card says "added to your map"; your first save takes you straight there. small touches simpler tabs, small fixes.

day-by-day plans say "2 days in kadıköy" and spotra splits it into days, in order. each day is a ticket: the stops, how long to stay at each, total time. tap a day chip and the map shows that day, with the route line only between that day's stops. share the plan the share pill next to your result gives you the plan as plain text; paste it into notes or send it to a friend. the map comes back open a place from the plan, close it, and the map returns to where you left off. meetups near you the meetups chip on the map now opens a panel from the bottom: meetups within 100 km in a list, while the map keeps moving freely. drag up to grow it, drag down to close. small touches smoother panel openings, small fixes.

area page, redone tap an area and get it at a glance: how many more places until it's yours, who's ahead, where you stand. first place sparkles on the list, your row is blue. leaderboard in area mode the category row under the map hides in area mode; a horizontal list of the most active explorers takes its place. badge colors match their area color on the map, tap to open a profile. livelier search the search field types out example searches for you, the "look around?" button sparkles, and category icons pop in next to the headline. who liked it? in the feed and in comments, tap the number next to a heart or emoji to see who reacted. seal rule you can seal the same place once every 24 hours; the app tells you when the timer's up. small touches new rank badges, smoother sheet openings, small fixes.

meetups on the map turn on the "meetups" filter above the map: nearby meetups show up as pins with their cover photo, tap one to open it. the meetup page got a refresh too: title on top, day and time on the cover, a place chip that takes you to the place. cover from the camera you can now shoot the meetup cover on the spot instead of picking from the gallery. a meetup can start right now; joining stays open for 2 hours after it starts. the explore tab also lists past meetups. group chat the keyboard no longer covers the text field, messages scroll smoothly, avatars got bigger. place page new meetup card with a join button right on it. pulling the page or the area card down now closes more smoothly. small touches seal times are accurate to the minute, the stuck refresh spinner is fixed, and the explore tab shows a badge for new activity.

meetups you can now set up a meetup at a place: cover photo, title, day and time — one screen, step by step. everyone who joins lands in the meetup's group chat; messages show up in chats and on the map badge. the explore tab lists meetups near you, and places with a meetup get a small badge on their pin. your first meetup is free. place page a "set up a meetup" card under the photos. pulling the page down now closes it more smoothly — same for places coming from apple maps. less fake, more real we went through the sample photos on the map: stock and pro-looking ones are gone, replaced with real moments from the place. small touches explore tabs got colors and icons, the launch offer shows up faster, and taps no longer slip behind the bottom bar.

claim your area area mode on the map now has a clear goal: be the area's top explorer. snap a photo at a place and the area fills in with a "this one's yours" stamp. the same card shows how many places are left and which ones you haven't been to. you'll know if someone takes it if someone claims your area, a small card shows up on launch and tells you how many photos it takes to get it back. each area shows its owner's avatar. talk to us new "support" box in settings: requests, complaints, ideas — send anything, we read it. simpler premium screen benefits now rotate on a single line, so the screen is less crowded. fixes the search dropdown now closes properly.

importing places from videos got better tiktok slideshow posts work now. we find the place even if its name is misspelled. if the place is already on the spotra map we show that one, so no duplicates. new results screen the place we found stands out on a big card. the save button stays at the bottom, always in reach. if we can't find it, you can search and add it yourself in one tap. explore, refreshed posts are now photo first. the place name sits on the photo, with who shared it right below. smoother loading spinners are gone. screens open with an outline of the content that's coming. premium your first video import is free. after that it's unlimited with premium. fixes long usernames no longer shrink on profiles. the paywall button is always visible on small screens.

add places from a video saw a place in an instagram or tiktok video? hit share and pick spotra. we find the places in the video and add them to your map. you can paste the link by hand too. imported places stay private to you. new setup flow the first time you open the app there's a short setup: your name, your photo, and the kinds of places you like. your map is tuned to you from day one. friend finding, redesigned the contacts matching screen was rebuilt. your numbers still never leave your device — only hashed versions are compared. fixes the "you're here" card now tells you the real reason when it can't find a place. a few visual glitches in explore and lists are gone.

people with your taste in places tap the friends button at the top right. based on where you've been, saved and liked, you get a deck of people who love the same spots. see the place you have in common and message them directly. one person a day is free, the rest is spotra premium. you're here card walk into a place and a small card shows up over the map: share the moment. there's also a short reminder in the evening, turn it off in settings if you don't want it. top picks new, trending, niche and popular marks on pins. tap one to see why it stands out. new camera 0.5x wide angle and pinch to zoom. the keyboard no longer covers your photo while writing a note. new opening film and tour, photoreal category icons, bug fixes.
