• Choose Hopper as your default browser so links from other apps open in Hopper

• Sites that try to leave the browser, including X, now stay open in Hopper • History and saved articles no longer duplicate after sync • Opening a mail, phone, or app link no longer shows a navigation error

Saved articles from your other devices and the Chrome extension now show up reliably and faster, including when you return to Hopper

Smoother listening volume when a long saved article continues across sections.

Narrower photo permissions: Hopper can still save images you download, without requesting full photo library access

Deleting a saved article now removes it from your account on all synced devices

Share a link or selected text from other apps to Fact Check in Hopper

Stronger registration for opening web links from other apps

• Listening auto-advances through unplayed saved articles and wraps back to newer ones when needed • Automatic voices prefer news-reader styles when available • Smoother handoff when one article finishes and the next begins

Fact Check now scores claims, summarizes why, and shows claim-by-claim status with sources. Selection fact-checks focus on the selected text, not the publisher.

• Bottom toolbar hides while you scroll down the page and returns when you scroll up • Chrome slides over the page so content does not jump when the toolbar hides • Same hide-and-show behavior in Reader Mode

Larger fact-check, reader, and save buttons in the bottom toolbar. Hopper badge and network status sit on the left for a clearer layout. Status row hides in landscape to give the page more room. Tighter spacing around the address bar. Bottom toolbar follows light and dark appearance more reliably.

Fact Check now includes human-curated Media Bias/Fact Check source ratings alongside AI score, justifications, and sources.

More reliable article listening in the background. Pause fades smoothly instead of cutting off. Bluetooth headphones can pause and resume listening. Reader Mode and Save buttons swapped in the bottom toolbar.

Passkey sign-in no longer hangs. If a site asks for a passkey, you can open the page in Safari to finish signing in.

Save, Reader, and Fact Check sit in the bottom toolbar instead of over the page. Fact Check uses a fact–myth meter. The first-launch guide highlights those toolbar buttons.

• Reader Mode no longer opens on sign-in or two-factor pages • Pause and resume listening from Saved pages and the lock screen • Default listening speed is now 115%

Links shared from other apps now show the real page title and destination URL, even when the original link was shortened. Sharing a link into Hopper opens the Saved list more reliably.

Reader Mode expands truncated “continue reading” articles so the full story is included. More comfortable paragraph spacing in Reader Mode. More reliable ad and tracker blocking.

• First-launch guide for Fact Check, Remove Clutter, and Save for Later • Chrome extension link in Settings to save pages from your desktop browser • Clear All for saved pages

• Reader Mode titles stay visible when sites use aggressive CSS • Listening auto-advance skips articles you’ve already finished • Saved list order stays stable while preparing a page for Listen

Save links shared from other apps into Saved pages.

• Automatic listening voices prefer Azure DragonHD when available for the language • English locales without local HD include US DragonHD voices; Canadian English includes the full US voice list

Cookie prompts with a clear Reject option are dismissed automatically. Reader mode is less likely to open on homepages. Fact Check uses a simple checkmark icon.

Article pages open in reader mode much sooner. Hopper switches as soon as the article is ready, without waiting for ads and other clutter to finish loading.
