LineThru is a focused audio monitor for musicians, synth owners, tinkerers, and anyone who wants to hear an audio input or an individual Mac app through a chosen output without opening a full recording session.

LineThru gives you a compact, hardware-style control surface for routing and monitoring audio on your computer. Use it to listen to a synth, sampler, handheld, mixer, interface input, or selected app through your chosen speakers, headphones, or output device.

LineThru is intentionally small. It is not a DAW, recorder, mixer, effects rack, or audio editor. It does one job: route a selected source to a selected output and give you the essential controls to monitor it cleanly.
Hardware inputs require microphone/audio-input permission. Individual app routing requires System Audio Recording permission. LineThru uses these permissions only for live routing and monitoring; it does not record audio.

Hardware monitoring now uses a rebuilt low-latency engine with drift compensation, selectable latency modes, and more reliable routing to the selected output device.
