Typing a longer message is no longer a chore. The message box now grows as you write, up to several lines, so you can see what you've said and scroll back through it instead of watching it run off the end of one line. Fixed: notifications for new messages and new introductions weren't being delivered. They are now. The app icon shows how many things are waiting for you — introductions you haven't seen, and conversations with a message you haven't read. It clears as you deal with them.

Fixes from testing at a real event, and a few things people hit at signup: • "Continue with Google" now works on Android for everyone. • Date of birth: anyone born before 1970 can now enter their real birthday. • The sign-in field no longer hides behind the keyboard. • Events you host can be found by people nearby — there's a listing switch on your host screen, on by default. • Clearer instructions when you scan to start a conversation, so both people know who shows a code and who scans. • Picking an interest during setup is now a single tap. • Buttons no longer sit under the Android navigation bar.

At an event, you can now talk to anyone there — not just the people the app introduces you to. Walk up, ask if they'd like to talk, and one of you scans the other's code to start the conversation with a question. Also: clearer wording when you're arranging to meet someone, and a few small fixes.

Events got smoother, based on a real test night: • Finding each other is clearer. Your note now says how to spot you ("green hoodie, glasses"), and the spot you pick to meet stays the one place to go. • "Scan their QR code" now opens the camera right away, and "Show my code" is one tap away. Only one of you needs to scan. • If someone is already meeting another person, can't find you, or ends the conversation, you'll now get a short note instead of the request just disappearing. • "Can't find them?" asks before ending the meetup, and lets the other person know. • Each of you gets your own conversation question. Swap yours without changing theirs. • Viewing someone's profile at an event now shows "Ask to meet," so you stay in the event flow. • After the night, "See who you met" makes it easy to ask to keep talking in the app. • The keyboard no longer covers the note and button when you ask to meet or accept. • Ended events clear from your list after a day. • Plus smaller fixes and polish.

Game night, polished: • Every game now teaches you how to play the moment you start — clear, quick rules you can skip once you know them. • Challenges is now a guided tournament: pick or randomize each mini-game, tap the round winner, and watch a live scoreboard crown a champion. • Darklings improvements — it's now framed as the Mafia-style game it is, everyone can see which roles are in play, and there's a proper discussion phase to trade accusations before the vote. • Buttons are easier to tap across the whole app. Plus assorted fixes and refinements.

Introducing Events — our biggest addition yet. Host a guided connection event and bring everyone into one shared space. Share a code, and friends — or a whole room of new faces — can join to play, talk, and connect in real time, each from their own phone. Perfect for parties, meetups, classes, and any get-together. • Play group games together — Bank, Drawing Telephone, Darklings, Challenges, and more. • Break the ice with conversation pairings, Find Someone Who, and staring contests. • Guide the room as host with announcements, zones, and tables.
