Blu 2.1 — the biggest update yet. • Parent dashboard: share a read-only progress link with your parents (Pro). Revoke it any time. No scores, no rankings — just streak, this week and words learned. • Every 5-word round now brings at least one new word, and each quick check opens with the two words you know best. • Get it right and feel it: the card bounces, a soft chime plays, combos build, and a perfect check earns a star burst. • Practice explanations now in Chinese and Japanese, with a short gloss under every option. • Easier on the eyes: roomier line spacing, clearer paragraphs and calmer weights on every screen, in a softer blue. • Share card 2.0 in seven looks — from Swiss grid to ink wash — a new one each time, or tap "Try another style". • Up to 3 daily reminders at times you choose; your avatar and nickname on Home and on the card. • Have a redemption code? Redeem it from Me or the Pro page. Add the friend who recommended Blu.

Five words at a time — and a quick check after every round. • Studying is bite-size: 5 words per round, about a minute, then an instant check on exactly those five — real SAT-style context questions. • Every check now explains itself: see WHY the answer is right (in your language too), and move on when you're ready — you control the pace. • Reviews are UNLIMITED for everyone. The only daily limit is new words (5 core + 3 advanced tastes). • The level test is back: Me → Level test. Ten questions, your estimated score band, retake any time. • Cleaner question screens: bigger reading type, less clutter. • Words you miss on a check land in your notebook and come back early.

Small groups, faster wins. • Your daily 20 words now come in four groups of five. Every group ends on a small win — and every group opens with words you probably know, never five strangers in a row. • A free taste of the advanced library: 3 advanced words every day, in your last group. What you start stays yours to review, and stays lit on the map. • Combo streaks: answer "I know it" a few times in a row and watch the ×3, ×4 build. It simply disappears when the run ends — no shame, no red. • The share card now speaks your language, and carries a QR code so a friend can scan straight to the App Store. • A nicer hello: the loading screen now teaches you one real word origin a day.

A rebuilt Blu, designed around one idea: 20 words, about 3 minutes, every day. • Simpler cards. Two answers now — "I know it" or "Not yet". No self-grading, no red marks. Say "Not yet" and the card simply turns over so you can meet the word properly. • A Home that shows progress. Your core-500 count, your whole-library count, and what you added today — every session moves a number. • A clearer finish. Each session ends with what you gained: words met, words reinforced, your streak, and the bar creeping forward. • Bigger type, bolder buttons, and a map where the advanced half is always visible. • Reminders you choose. Pick your own time after a session — friendly, capped at two a day, never late at night. • Straight in. Sign in and you land on your first lesson; the old placement test and setup steps are gone. Fuller Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese throughout.
