Kindling: Couples Questions
Never run out. Pay once.
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New: seal a time capsule for each other, see your month together, and send tonight's question to your partner. Now with over 1,000 questions.
The top couples apps charge about $60 a year, make both of you create accounts and pair your phones, and their #1 complaint is "we ran out of questions." Kindling is the opposite. One curated question a night, free forever. One honest $29.99 lifetime unlock for everything. No account, no login, no cloud sync — and over 1,000 curated questions.
FIVE MINUTES A NIGHT, CLOSER EVERY DAY
Open Kindling on the couch, read tonight's question, each of you taps in an answer, then flip the card — both answers appear side by side. That little "oh, you said that?" moment is the whole point. One phone, together, about five minutes.
OVER 1,000 QUESTIONS, AND MORE EVERY UPDATE
1,072 hand-written questions across 12 packs — dating, new relationship, long-distance, married, parents and more — plus 180 game cards in the Play tab. That is years of nights before a repeat, and new packs arrive in free updates. We would rather give you the real number than promise infinity.
YOUR KINDLING FLAME GROWS WITH YOUR STREAK
Every night you connect, your flame grows a little brighter and your streak ticks up. A gentle nudge to keep showing up for each other — no pressure, just a warm little fire you tend together.
REVISIT YOUR STORY
Every answer is saved to "Us." Scroll back through what you've said, and let "on this day" resurface a sweet answer from a while ago. Set your anniversary and see how far you've come.
QUESTION PACKS FOR EVERY MOOD
Everyday (400, free), Deep Talk, New Relationship, Long-Distance, Milestones, Parents, Seasons of Us, Date Deck, Would-You-Rather, How Well Do You Know Me, a seasonal drop, and a warm Date Night pack. And the Play tab turns one phone into a couples game night.
NEW: WHERE & WHEN — YOUR OWN PHOTOS
Pick three photos or videos from your camera roll, pass the phone, and see if your partner can guess where and when each was taken. Drop a pin, pick the year, flip to reveal — then swap. No photo-library permission. Your photos stay on this phone and are never saved; maps and place names use Apple Maps.
YOUR ANSWERS NEVER LEAVE YOUR PHONE
No account. No sign-in. No cloud sync. Every answer you write stays on your device, and Kindling never collects your answers or anything that could identify you. (We use standard anonymous crash and usage diagnostics to fix bugs and improve the app — never linked to you, and never including a word of what you write.) What you share stays between the two of you.

WHY KINDLING
This category rents you connection by the month and still runs out of things to say. Kindling doesn't: honest prices, a pay-once option, over 1,000 questions with more in every free update, and your answers safe on your device.
Kindling is meant for fun and connection, not therapy or medical advice. If your relationship needs real support, please talk to a qualified professional.
Download Kindling and start tonight's question.
